I went into a King Soopers to get quarters. The shift manager had an issue with her drawer, but another came along. While I waited I smiled politely because they were doing me a favor. I hadn’t bought anything.
After several minutes, the issue got resolved, and the shift manager made change. Passing over a roll, she said, “Everyone needs to do laundry.”
I couldn’t say anything. I had no response.
She just laughed at me, but she was right. I went home and did laundry.
